Demo website template — not a real counselling service. Every word, image and colour on this page can be changed to fit your practice.
A calm place to begin.
I'm Michael, a counsellor working with adults in Stockport and online. If something feels heavy, stuck, or hard to put into words right now, you don't have to face it on your own.
What I can help with.
People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons — sometimes a clear one, sometimes just a sense that things aren't quite working.
Anxiety: overthinking, worry, or feeling unable to switch off.
Burnout: running on empty and finding it hard to keep going.
Grief and change: loss, transition, or life feeling different than it did before.
Relationships: patterns that keep repeating at home, work, or elsewhere.
Feeling stuck: not quite knowing what is wrong, only that something feels hard.
Whatever brings you here, the aim is the same: to feel a little less alone with it, and a little clearer about what comes next.
What working together is like.
There's no script and no pressure to have it all figured out before we start.
First conversation
We talk about what is going on, what you might need, and whether working together feels right.
Regular sessions
We usually meet weekly, creating a steady space where you can think out loud and not be rushed.
No perfect words
You do not need to arrive with everything neatly explained. Bringing the muddle is enough.
Making sense
Together, we begin to understand what feels difficult and what might help you move differently.
A little about me.
I'm a qualified counsellor with experience supporting adults through anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties and periods of change.
My approach is warm and unhurried. I won't hand you a diagnosis or a formula — I'll listen properly, and we'll work out together what actually helps.
I believe people often carry more of their own answers than they realise. Sometimes they just need a steady person and enough space to hear them.
Taking the first step.
Reaching out can be the hardest part. There is no commitment in a first message — just send a short note about what is on your mind, or any questions you have, and I will reply personally.
A simple first message is enough.
You can ask questions before deciding anything.
We only continue if it feels like the right fit.
Built around your practice, not a template.
This demo is a starting point. The finished site is shaped around your real work — your name and logo, your words and tone, your own images, and only the sections you actually need. Nothing here is fixed.
Identity: practice name, logo, colours and typography.
Images: room photos, portraits, nature imagery or careful placeholders.
Words: copy rewritten around your voice, clients and therapeutic approach.
Structure: sections added, removed or simplified depending on what you need.
Designed to feel steady, not salesy.
A good therapy website gives someone enough to feel safe getting in touch — without overwhelming them or trying to sell.
Clear enough
For someone who feels unsure about reaching out.
Warm enough
To feel human, personal and approachable.
Simple enough
That the next step is always obvious.
From template to your finished website.
The template is only the starting point. The final version is shaped around your real work, words, images and contact process.
Choose the feel
We use this demo as a visual starting point and adjust the tone to suit your practice.
Rewrite the words
The copy is reshaped around your real clients, voice and way of working.
Launch
The finished site becomes a calm, professional home for your work online.
